Melrose Center on the Radio!

Ormilla on Radio Show

This past Friday we had an opportunity to participate in a series of interviews on My Hometown with Jim Turner – 1520 WBZW. The show was conducted live at the library’s North Orange Branch. Ormilla Vengersammy, Melrose Center’s Department Head, joined other library staff members to talk about many of the library’s popular services. It was a neat experience seeing how library patrons engaged and interacted with those participating in the interview. Be sure to click on the Services tab on this page to learn more about what the Melrose Center offers!

Melrose Center: Audio Studio Update

The Audio Studio Live Room is available for booking! The Live Room allows you to record in a large, acoustically-treated space and does not require extensive audio knowledge to produce a recording. In this room, you can record an MP3 stereo file directly to a USB drive using a Live Mixer. Recordings made in the Live Room do not provide a file that allows separate channel editing. A Live Room booking does not include access to the Control Room, the C24 Control Surface, or Pro Tools software. Access to the full studio is forthcoming, so please check back for updates.

If audio production is new to you, our audio equipment classes are a great place to start.
