Join us tomorrow, Saturday, December 14 at 2pm at the Orlando Public Library for an exciting new event, Curiosity Machine: Build a Robotic Arm for Kids. Families will learn how to build their own basic robotic arm and test its abilities. Families can share their designs on the Curiosity Machine to earn badges and get feedback from mentoring scientists. All classes are free to Orange County district resident cardholders, Fee cardholders, and Orange County Property Owner cardholders. Registration is required. Library staff is preparing STEM classes to accompany immersive flight experiences in the Simulation Lab. We are currently “test driving” the flight simulator and creating curricula for the physics of flight. When the Center opens, customers will be able to experience flying in a fixed wing aircraft, using full cockpit displays, immersive views and surround sound.
